Walk our Blue Trails

Discover our trails that have received the Sender Blau (blue trail) award.

In l'Hospitalet de l'Infant and Vall de Llors you will find two trails that have been awarded this prize by the ADEAC (Association for Environmental and Consumer Education): the Jonquet coastal path and the Masboquera-Castelló inland trail.

You can download the information leaflet of our Blue Trails at this link.

Jonquet coastal path

The Jonquet coastal path is a low-difficulty nature trail that links two Blue Flag beaches, Arenal and Torn, and has been compacted over the years. This path, that runs parallel to the coastline, allows you to enjoy an interesting environment with a rich vegetation and an important natural heritage, such as the Protected Natural Area of La Rojala-Playa del Torn, as well as some curious sights, such as the remains of a machine gun nest from the Spanish Civil War or the presence of embryonic dunes and stabilised dunes. The route reaches the spectacular Illot del Torn, a rocky islet joined to the beach.

Masboquera-Castelló inland trail

This is a circular trail of medium difficulty that begins and ends in the center of Masboquera, passing through the Masía de Castelló. Along the route we find characteristic landscapes of the mountainous coastal zone and different elements of interest, among them the old town of Castelló. We also find different architectural elements related to agriculture in the area, such as dry stone ledges and huts, and recently recovered old cobbled paths.
